The Human Side of Innovation

Marcus Gottschalk will give us some more insight in how he works with companies and what issues are important for Innovation. The workshop will provide you to see the human side of innovation as the most underestimated imperative driving innovation.

Modern managers and leaders need to cultivate a climate of change, courage, creativity, and strategic innovation-thinking. However, today’s Businesses concentrates still on innovation-processes and tool-thinking - it does not work alone! The workshop -the human side of innovation- addresses following questions:  

  • What are creative-talents, and who is member of an innovation team? 
  • Which strengths and weaknesses have your innovation culture?
  • What does it mean to your Business to build leaders „versatility“ for more innovation?
  • How to deal with paradigm and patterns?
  • How do you increase your executive’s leadership skills, so that they promote change and motivate other for driving innovations?  
Marcus Gottschalk is Managing Director at “Innovation Europe” in Cologne, Germany.

His current work in organizations focuses on Innovation and encouraging individual initiatives and leadership. The consulting focus however is to achieve clearly defined business results by linking people processes to business outcomes, from the idea to the final product.

Marcus consults innovation projects in companies on an international level. He develops and directs international training programmes in the field of innovation, business-creativity and innovative leadership for more than 50 international clients. 
He is the author of the management book “Top-Management” and of several innovation articles and blogs.

Marcus studied Mechanical Engineering in Berlin, Germany and holds the degree Master of Science. Furthermore he studied Business Administration at the University of Maryland. Marcus extended and diversified his technical and economic background by studying Systemic Family Therapy.

For more than 10 years Marcus worked at the Institute for Applied Creativity and is now Associate and Trainer at the European office of the “Center for Creative Leadership”. Find more about me in www.xing.com and on our web page www.innovation-europe.de -------------
The workshop fee will be 110 EUR plus VAT. Please note that your registration is binding, due to the fact that we need to charge a small fee in order to pay our key note speaker. The fee will be made payable upon entrance of the event if not transferred to our bank account before. An invoice will be handed out to you at the Workshop.
