Isabel Jonet is graduated in Economics by Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 1982. She works as a volunteer in Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome since 1993.
Presently, she is the President of the Portuguese Federation of Food Banks and Member of the Board of the European Federation of Food Banks. She has supported the foundation of ten Food Banks in Portugal.
She is also the President and Founder of ENTRAJUDA, created recently to support social institutions in terms of management.
She is Member of the Strategic Board of Hospital Amadora Sintra. Member of the Strategic Board of Jornal Expresso. Member of the Strategic Orientation Board of Faculdade de Ciências Económicas e Empresariais da Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
She worked in the European Economic and Social Committee of the European Community in Brussels, between 1987 and July of 1993.
First work experience collected as Assistant Manager of Sociedade Portuguesa de Seguros, between March of 1983 and December of 1986. She also worked during 1987, in the Financial Direction of Assurances Général de France in Brussels.
