European perspectives on Mixed Leadership

Networking

Women are significantly outnumbered by men in leadership positions in the corporate sector across Europe. Indeed, the under utilisation of the skills of highly qualified women constitutes a loss of economic growth potential. The lack of women in leading positions means that female talent is not fully used and the quality of appointments to the highest positions may be compromised. States and companies have taken a lot of initiatives to encourage or enforce change. Still the progress to get more women into decision-making position is rather slow in most European countries.

We invite you to discuss with EWMD leadership development and mixed leadership from an European perspective. We have the pleasure to present Brigitte Ott-Göbel as a key note speaker. Brigitte Ott-Göbel is a consultant and lecturer at FOM University for Management and at the Shaanxi University of Finance & Economics, Taiyuan/China with more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the automotive sector e.g. Daimler AG. She will talk about the European perspectives of leadership development and the success story of networking, exchange and cooperation.

The dialogue with representatives of French companies after the key note will focus on:

  • promoting women in leading positions in France
  • sharing best-practices between French companies and companies from other European countries
  • strengthening exchange between women across European countries

Participants will also have the chance to discuss these issues with Nadin Meloth, Co-President EWMD International, Sieglinde Schneider, President EWMD Germany, and Paola Ligabue, Director Marketing EWMD International.
