Microsoft Germany has been a member of EWMD for several years and supports the network through different events as well as active contributuion by female managers and specialists. On a number of occasions the regional group was invited to the Microsoft office.
In 2011 Microsoft in Germany was ranked on place 2 in the "Great Place to Work" initiative. In addition, the company won a special award for Diversity, recognising the many activities taken to support women at work.
In November 2011 Microsoft was awarded the first ever “Best Global Workplace” award from the Great Places To Work Institute.
Microsoft's 10 EWMD members are active in several regional groups in Germany, and it is a pleasure to see the active engagement of our employees. The company also has a number of inhouse activities like a global women's network, women's conferences and virtual webcasts, online training as well as some local groups.
