Klaus Rischka is a research fellow at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Applied Materials Research, Bremen, Germany. He is responsible for acquisition and execution of public funded and industrial research projects since 2002.
His research topic is the synthesis and characterization of peptide based materials and surfaces. He received his diploma (M.Sc.) and his doctorate (Ph.D.) in chemistry in the group of Prof. Montforts at the University of Bremen in 1997 and 2001. He continued his stay in this working group until the end of 2001 as a postdoctoral researcher. First work experience was collected in the start up company SiChem in 2002 in Bremen.
