Living your Passion: How Hobbies and Avocations Enrich our Lives, Contribute to Community and Become Careers

Networking

Have you ever wanted to have a hobby or interest outside your work and family life but weren’t sure how to find one? Have you ever wanted to spend time on something that truly inspires you, something you can call your very own? Hobbies and avocations are wonderful ways of enriching our lives and contributing to our communities while sometimes propelling us into new careers. How do you find your passion? When you do, and it prompts you to change careers, how do you know when the time is right to take the plunge?! What are some of the do’s and don’ts to consider?

Come enjoy a discussion of Living Your Passion in a relaxing setting surrounded by beautiful, contemporary Japanese prints. The Reingold Gallery’s Susan Reingold will be our art guide and also kick off an informal, lively and candid discussion of how she turned hobby into a business, including successes and failures along the way.

This will be an excellent chance for everyone who attends to tell the group more about themselves and their passion and, for anyone contemplating making their passion a business, a valuable chance to discuss approaches, resources, pitfalls -- and some inspiration to help!

All are welcome, both Europeans and non-Europeans! Come join us for what promises to be an inspiring and informative evening for all, we will be delighted to welcome you to our informal discussion and networking session.
